Renovations

I asked John to build a shelf to replace the bottom of the cabinet under the kitchen sink. When the day was done, we ended up with this...





I couldn't find any before pictures with the wall there. That used to be a big wall that separated the eating area from the cooking area.
There was dry wall dust all over the kitchen and living room. It took me a long time to clean it all up.
This is also just a temporary remodel. We will eventually cut the wall down to the countertop level and pull the countertop around to make more counter space. That will be when we can afford new countertops.
Oh ya...I never did get my shelf.
